The origins of this traditional company date back to 1550. At that time, the original smithy was founded in Ybbsitz in Lower Austria's Mostviertel region. In 1922, they began producing high-quality enamel cookware. Today, Julian Riess, Friedrich Riess and Susanne Rieß lead the family business as the ninth generation of the family. The RIESS Enamel Manufacture is the only cooking utensil manufacturer in Austria and also produces enamel signs and industrial components.
