The new Sonnenglas® SOMO module can be taken anywhere, whether you're camping or just out and about around town. SOMO creates the perfect atmosphere for cosy evenings and makes a lovely reading light. Dim the light as much as you like to provide just the amount of light that you need.

The flat design slides easily into your pocket, but also includes a clip to make it easy to carry. The module is also easy to attach to a cord so that it can be hung up. The reinforced housing gives the module extra protection, just in case it's accidentally dropped.

Tip: If you already have a Sonnenglas® Classic, you could of course use SOMO with your existing glass.

TheS onnenglas® History

Sonnenglas® was made to provide people in Africa with a sustainable light source, as kerosene lamps were often the only alternative. However, kerosene lamps can cause serious fires, damage people's health or cause pollution. The Sonnenglas® glasses have been sold outside of Africa since 2013 and help ensure clean, atmospheric lighting worldwide.

Sonnenglas® values fair working conditions, wages and hours. The production in Johannesburg is lovingly done by hand and provides jobs for young people.
